It was the summer of 2003 and I arrived in Brisbane while the Straight Out Of Brisbane festival was going on .... i had a fabulous time... i met a boy ....

The story really starts somewhere else, when the speaker decided to visit Brisbane in early December 2003 ... but for the purposes of this part of the story, she came back 5 years later and retraced her steps.
She walked out of the city backpacker's and down into Fortitude Valley ... it was hot and the first place she sat down was the China Town mall ... she sat on a bench at the top end, nearly under the gateway entrance and next to a small statue almost hidden in the flower bed.
The time is now - and both stories are long gone. You can take photos of the places you get sent to in the course of the story and add them as snapshots for the story teller
Start on the bench next to the small statue in the flower bed at the Ann St. end of the China Town Mall.
