How To Play

There are a few different ways to find the perfect game to play.

• Go to the Game List. From there you can search for games according to location, country, tag, play area, builder and title, OR you can use our handy game map.
• You can also find games by visiting a citizen's Profile page where you will find a list of the games both played and built by the citizen.
• The Forum is an excellent place to look for games. If you're so inclined, it's also a good place to share games that you've built.

By clicking on any Game in a Game List, you will be taken to a Game Poster.

A Game Poster will give you all the information you need to decide whether you want to play the game and how to start.

A Game Poster is also a place to view and post ratings, comments, notes and images related to a game.

There is a Join Game button in the top section of each Game Poster.

Click on it and follow the instructions.

You're now registered to the game and are ready to play!

We highly recommend using this method rather than SMS for 3 main reasons...

• It will cost less.
• You can join/register to as many games as you like on the website and switch between them while on site.
• You can play from outside of Australia without any extra cost.

How To

• Just point your mobile web browser to http://m.ciphercities.com/
• Log in using your username and password
• Select the game you want to play and you're set!
• Anytime you want to start another game you have registered to, just select another game from the Mobile Games List.

If you choose to play via SMS please make sure you have confirmed your mobile number with us. You may do this in Edit Profile.

When you play by SMS, you can only play the last game you registered to.

To play another game, you have to return to your computer and join/register to another game.

This will pause/stop the previous game.

How To

• When you have joined a game, a message will appear describing how and where to send SMS to start the game.

A game could get you to do nearly anything so get ready!

At its most basic, a game consists of a sequence of messages sent and received between you and CipherCities.

Send a message to CipherCities and a response will be sent back.

The sequence and content of each message is determined by the game's builder.
